Helping a Human

About

Care, community, compassion — in that order.

Helping a Human is a non-profit organization restoring the systems modern life has forgotten how to honour — clean air, living water, nourishing food, lasting shelter, and the security to live without fear.

Sher Singh, founder of Helping a Human

The founder

Sher Singh

This work did not begin through convenience. It began through a deeper calling — one that asked how human life is supposed to be guided when the ancient, systematic ways have been forgotten.

Sher Singh founded Helping a Human as a vehicle for that remembrance: an organization that does not chase headlines, but rebuilds quietly, in the places where people live.

“Real help is needed in today’s world. We are not here to react. We are here to remember.”

What guides us

Care

We measure success in the wellbeing of the people and places we touch — not in growth charts.

Community

Every project is co-led with the people it serves. We do not arrive with answers.

Compassion

The work is slow because life is slow. Healing cannot be rushed.

Help us plant the next hundred years.

Care doesn't scale on its own — it grows when more hands carry it. Your gift directly funds the next planting season, water restoration, and shelter build.
